I have been dancing since the age of 3 and have loved every minute! I grew up dancing and teaching at my mother’s dance studio. I moved to New York City to go to college and pursue my career as an actor/dancer and it was there, that I found my love for fitness. When I wasn’t doing a show out of town, I taught dance fitness classes for a large company in the city and completely fell in love with the atmosphere and the motivational community. After 8 years of living in New York and working across the country as a professional actor, I decided to move back to Delaware County and start my own fitness studio and share the new found love I had for dance fitness. CFIT was born! I have been a dancer for 28 years, taught dance for over 16 years, certifications in Zumba and PiYo, created Mix Up, Club Cardio, Ballet Bod, and continue to think of innovative ways to challenge every CFITer. My goal is to create a fun and judgement free environment where everyone feels welcomed and challenged at any level of fitness. For me, working out alone was always a struggle. I needed the encouragement and motivation of others to keep myself accountable in order for me to have success and stick with it. The amazing, dedicated CFIT community is something I did not anticipate, but it is the driving force behind everything we do.

I have been dancing since I was 3 years old! Must be a sister thing. Dance is in the blood, I have been teaching traditional dance for over 10 years and dance fitness for more than 7 years. After graduating from Temple University, I became a certified Zumba instructor and taught here in Springfield before I followed in my sister’s footsteps and moved to New York City to pursue Musical Theater. I lived there for over 5 years singing, dancing, and teaching dance fitness all over Manhattan. It was in New York when I created Tone Up, Ball & Tone, and Cuts & Cardio. I have an equal passion for Theater and Fitness, and am beyond grateful I get to do both of them for a living in a place that I love, with the people I love.
I am an enthusiastic group fitness instructor- certified in Red Hot Dance Fitness, Pound, and Zumba Basic 1. I have been dancing since I was a little girl-ballet, jazz, tap, pointe, hip hop, modern, -and theater. I have been teaching Red Hot Dance Fitness since September of 2013 and I have been teaching Pound since November of 2016. I strive to lead and motivate my classes to reach their fitness goals and to have fun while doing it!
I have been practicing yoga for about 3 years. I discovered yoga when I was a student at West Chester University and found it very useful for relieving stress and staying physically active. I received her 200 hour Registered Yoga Teacher Certification from Enso in March 2017, where I began to deepen my understanding of yoga philosophy and strengthen her commitment to consistent practice.
My style of teaching is vinyasa yoga, linking movement with breath, with emphasis on mindfulness. I like to focus on the importance of conscious breathing and awareness of sensations in any pose. My goal is for students to feel present and curious as they tend to their unique mind, body, and spirit so that they can feel more integrated both on and off their mat.
I believes yoga is a holistic practice that has the potential to positively effect all areas of a person's life: mental, emotional, spiritual, physical, and social. She loves yoga because it helps us incorporate mindfulness and gratitude into our daily routines.
I started dancing at Carmela's Dance Studio 12 years ago! I went to college at The University of Maryland where I joined a competitive hip hop crew, Phunktions. After college I began teaching dance at Carmela's, so when they started offering fitness classes, it fit seamlessly into my life. I've been with CFIT since day one, and can't imagine teaching anywhere else. Currently, I teach Mix-Up, Mega Mix-Up , Kickbox Cardio, and Latin Fitness. I use high intensity interval training for all of my classes. I'll get your heart rate up all while having a great time. Come by and check out one of my classes, I promise you won't regret it!
My first real dance class was at Carmela's Dance Studio, so it's nice to come back home! Professionally, I am an actor, performing in musicals across the country. Specifically, Broadway, National Tours, Vegas productions, and Cruise Ships. For the last 10 years, I have been dancing on stage and because of this, fitness has not only been necessary but a requirement. I have been teaching at C-FIT since the beginning and enjoy every minute! When I'm not out of town doing a show, I'm with the rockstars at CFIT! See you in class!
